  Greetings from deep inside the Bunker! We hope you are all enjoying your summer. We have been staying busy with new products, sorting collections, and managing the constant barrage of emails and phone calls. Our Magic: The Gathering pre-release event for The Edge of Eternities was a big hit last week, and we sold out of most of our cards. Hopefully, there will be more soon. Obtaining Pokémon cards has also been a challenge. We rearranged some gaming tables in our gaming space to accommodate more players and are considering staying open late for gaming on Wednesday nights as well. Please let us know if you would be interested in gaming here on Wednesday evenings! This weekend is the Massachusetts Tax Holiday. No sales tax will be added Saturday the 9th and Sunday the 10th! I have sorted and inventoried the two pallets containing K&C and other items that arrived. They did not arrive intact; many goods are missing or damaged. What a disaster—there was significant damage, and numerous items were missing. The collection we picked up in New Jersey last Saturday has been cataloged, including King and Country, John Jenkins, and more. You can find these items in our Collections and Retired sections (see links below). We are currently holding a massive sale on Marx Toys reissues (plastic). Our Annual Games Day is scheduled for August 23rd, featuring two gaming sessions at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. So far, we have "Baron's War, World of Tanks, a France 1940 game (20mm), Ancients, Beer and Pretzel Napoleonics, and Star Wars Legion scheduled.   July 24th Updates What's new and exciting? Today, a heat wave has hit us. It is sweltering, and we already have about 20 gamers rolling dice. Today, we received approximately 20 cartons from our hobby distributors, including Gundam kits, Gundam bases, car models, AK 3Gen paint, new Atbeiling oil paints, Woodland Scenics, Tamiya products, Mr. Hobby primers, glue, and various hobby tools. My son and I have been busy sorting through the collection we picked up two weeks ago. We have many items listed on our website, including rare collectibles and First Legion figures available on eBay. Additionally, I will be bringing some unique pieces to the toy soldier show in Wayne, NJ, this weekend. On the way down on Saturday, I will be picking up yet another collection! This one will include a dozen JJD WWI airplanes, Dragon 1/6 scale figures, Osprey books, and King & Country WWII items. Oh, and we have two pallets of K&C coming from California—yes, I said two pallets! We are currently having a massive sale on Marx Toys reissues (plastic).    What's new and exciting? In addition to the 100-degree heat, we received several shipment of new products this week. Yesterday, approximately 20 cartons arrived, including the new Expert Acrylics by Monument Hobbies, and a restock of paint from AK Interactive. We also have a variety of board games and RPGs, around 70 Gundam kits, and Thomas Gunn Toy Soldiers. We are currently running a massive sale on Marx Toys reissues (plastic). Additionally, we have placed many of our First Legion Ltd toy soldiers on sale. We are relieved that the heat wave has ended. Over the past few weeks, we have hosted 30 to 40 gamers in our gaming loft, on Thursday nights and we are pleased that they won't be sweating tonight. The new Star Wars CCG, "Legends of the Force," is on its way and will be available for purchase on July 3rd.

  June 19th News and FREE RPG DAY!

   Hello, hobby enthusiasts! June is flying by, and summer fun is just around the corner. We are excited to kick off the season with a huge sale on Marx Toys reissues (plastics) and a FREE RPG Day this Saturday. Stop by anytime this Saturday for a complimentary role-playing game (while supplies last). We will also be running promotions on all in-stock games! We have some exciting announcements! King and Country has sent out their dispatches a bit late this month, but they are now available for pre-order. The new offerings include French Line (Napoleonics), Falklands War editions, and WWII US grease monkeys to service your aircraft! We have just added the July release from John Jenkins, and we expect the May and June shipments to arrive tomorrow. We did not place an order in May due to the 154% tariff that was in effect. Now that it has been reduced to 30%, we are able to import it again. We received a substantial shipment of games over the past week, including new board games, RPGs, and more. This morning, I drove to Central Massachusetts and acquired a W. Britains collection. On the way back, I stopped to view a beautiful and extensive collection of toy soldiers. I will be returning to the house in the coming weeks to assist with downsizing some of it. This week, we have been busy placing orders. We will have a significant restock of AK Interactive hobby supplies, Gundam kits, Koplow dice, board games, and more arriving next week, along with new Pro Acyrl "Expert Acrylics."

   Hello, folks! I am back from my trip across the pond. London and its surroundings are amazing places to visit. The Plastic Warrior was showcased in a village called Twickenham, which hosted an all-plastic toy soldier exhibition. It was a small venue, but it attracted a large crowd. I was quite busy and sold a significant number of plastic toy soldiers! Just across the river lies Richmond on Thames, a delightful area to explore. It is also the filming location for the fictional show “Ted Lasso,” featuring Ted as the soccer coach of the imaginary “Richmond Football Club.” I took my daughter on a long trek through many miles of London and numerous pubs! We even made it to the “Mayflower” Pub, located near where the Puritans planned their voyage before eventually landing in Plymouth, Massachusetts. So much history to uncover! Another fascinating spot was the Grenadier. The Grenadier pub in Belgravia, London, boasts a rich history dating back to 1720 when it served as the officers' mess for the 1st Regiment of Foot Guards. The name honors the Grenadiers who fought at the Battle of Waterloo. Well, that’s enough about London; now, on to hobbies! We have some exciting announcements! Thomas Gunn has just unveiled a variety of new toy soldiers, including Royal Archers, Professor Jones, Gestapo, and German Marder crews. King and Country sent out their dispatches a bit late this month, but they are now available for pre-order. The new offerings include French Line (Napoleonics), Falklands War editions, and WWII US grease monkeys to service your aircraft! We received a large shipment of games over the past week, including new board games, RPGs, and more. This shipment features the new 28mm figures and the 2nd Edition rules for Baron’s War. Additionally, we are now selling the MTG: Final Fantasy TCG, along with some One Piece and Pokémon products that have just arrived on the shelves.
