  It's back-to-school time, or, as I like to call it, back-to-Chicago time! My two oldest children are now in college, and my youngest has just started at the local vocational/technical school. While they are returning to the classroom, I am preparing for some big road trips and focusing on toy soldiers. I just dropped off my trailer for a tune-up. However, before all that, I am running around like a madman trying to get ready for tomorrow's trip to Virginia. The Chicago Toy Soldier Show is just two weeks away, and it's the largest one in the world. Here are some of the weekly updates. This week, we received shipments from War Park (toy soldiers), Hat Industrie, Games Workshop, a restock of hobby supplies and paints. We have recently added the following items to our website: Collectors Showcase items, Thomas Gunn miniatures, Pro Acryl Paints (Full Range), King and Country products, BMC toys, and First Legion figures. Additionally, we have listed several glossy figure brands, including Trophy and British Bulldogs, on eBay (seller: mhobbunker).   August 29th Updates. It's back to school time, or, as I like to call it, back to Chicago time! This time of year means that I am gearing up for a big rode trip and concentrating on toy soldiers. Last week I was all about games with running our annual gamesday. The Chicago toy soldier show is just a few weeks away. It's the biggest one in the world. Last year I took on the job of running the CTSS show, it is a lot of work, but this year will be a little easier with one year of experience under my belt. Here are some of the weekly updates. This week we received a huge restock of Gundam Model kits, hobby supplies, and tools. We also got shipments from King and Country, Flames of War, Warlord games, Rubicon, and Mars. Today we received a pile of boxes from BMC Toys(which are loaded with all the new Classic Toy Soldier sets rebranded under the BMC line). We have just added the following to our website: Collectors Showcase items, Thomas Gunn miniatures, Pro Acryl Paints, BMC toys, and First Legion figures. My son has recently put a bunch of 12" GI Joe's made by Sideshow and lots of glossy toy soldiers up on eBay (seller: mhobbunker).   Greetings. Here are some of the weekly updates from deep in side the Bunker HQ! This week we received a pile of games from Asmodee(including some Star Wars cards), Armies in Plastic, new stuff from First Legion Ltd, New stuff form W.Britains, paint, hobby supplies and models. Tomorrow we will receive some more games including some hard to get Magic the Gathering sets, gaming minis, dice and more! Stop by and see us soon. We have have finally found a location for our local toy soldier show. It will be held in Burlington on October 6th. The West Coast toy soldier show is booked for March 9th at the Double Tree Hotel in Buena Park, CA. Unfortunately the staff at the venue we had last year changed and so did the cost! Another local show has moved. The IPMS Patcon show will held at the American Heritage Museum on September 15th in Hudson, MA We have been adding inventory to the website and ebay store this week. In the store we are getting our usually new and restocks of hobby supplies, models, board games, miniatures and paints. The Plastic Soldier Co restock has arrived along with the new Bagration Book.   August 6th Updates. We are looking forward to some cooler weather this week. I had just about enough of the 90 degree days! We have been keeping busy around here. Lots of shipments arriving daily. We have also been sorting out collections to add to the website and will have a lot of cool stuff to bring to the Chicago show next month. On top of a bunch of Toy soldier shows we are looking to add some game cons too. We have have finally found a location for our local toy soldier show. It will be held in Burlington on October 6th. I am about to lock in the Double Tree Hotel in Buena Park for the West Coast show that should happen March 9th. Another local show has moved.   JULY 31st Updates. July is a wrap! My son, Brady, turned 18 today. My longtime collector, buddy and gamer is off to college soon. I will be one sad Dad next month. Luckily I have one more kid to keep me company! Rhys is off to the Vocational school here in Wakefield this September. My daughter is entering her Senior year of college! Where does the time go?? Looks like Dad will have more time for hobbies in the near future! I had a great show last weekend in New Jersey...thanks to all who came out the show and supported us and made for a fun trip. I hope to book the West Coast Toy Soldier show tomorrow! Another local show has moved. The IPMS Patcon show will held at the American Heritage Museum on September 15th in Hudson, MA I am also working on pulling together a Games Day for August 24th. We are close to booking a toy soldier show in Burlington, MA on October 6th! We have been adding inventory to the website and ebay store this week. Magic the Gathering Bloomburrow is in. The Prerelease is tomorrow night. We also have Lorcana, Pokemon and plenty of Magic Cards in stock. We have a big Games Workshop shipment on the way. Our X-Wing and Monsterapocolypse stock is 50% off while supplies last! In the store we are getting our usually new and restocks of hobby supplies, models, board games, miniatures and paints.
