Otto Kissenberth
"Make mine a cold one!"
Otto Kissenberth was one of a few German air aces who wore spectacles during WWI. This did not impede him in his aerial quest for 20 victories by the time the war ended. Kissenberth was known to have flown an Eindecker, Pfalz, Albatross, and a Captured Sopwith Camel during his flying career.
This little vignette shows Kissenberth downing a bottle of champagne after a ‘hard day at the office!’ The table and hat are included with this set and it makes a very pleasing diorama all on its own!
Kissenberth survived the war only to be killed in a climbing accident in 1919 at age 26.
Limited Edition of 100.
Released in OCTOBER 2013.
