Our two new Legionnaires would certainly be welcome in any tent or toga party, leading to a fair bit of Rome-ance. While females were not allowed to serve in the Legions, who can say they never dressed up in Legionnaire armour and clothing? Not us, as these releases add a bit of spice and variety to collectors of the Roman era. These make a delightful change from the standard Legionnaire, Praetorian, or shouting Centurion. One leans over her shield whilst the other takes a breather from the wear and tear of a long route march and carrying all that heavy equipment.
