  Early October Updates. Hey folks. It has been an up and down week here at the Bunker. We are keeping busy and trying not to pay attention to all the troubles in the world. I picked up more model kits and have been listing stuff from a large toy soldier collection. The Magic the Gathering "Dr. Who" sets have arrived and will sell out over the weekend. On the homefront my son has senoir night for his football team and my daughter is coming home from Flagler College for the weekend. Of course a little bad timing om my part with me heading off to the New Jersey Toy Soldier Show on Saturday. The show is Sunday. I have gotten a lot of calls about what is now a thing of the past...."the Hackensack show." The show was great for so many years but has not been scheduled since 2019. I will be looking into getting a new NJ show for the Fall of 2024. I am also working on a new location for the West Coaster Show. We just added more this week. Including some Conte Coll. Above is an upcoming release from W.Britains - a photo of their new US Army 40mm Bofors Anti-aircraft gun as it might have appeared during the last months of the war in Europe 1944-45. The gun comes with a 4 man crew and features a C-N-C turned aluminum barrel, with an elevating and traversing gun. The outriggers function and the wheels lift so the gun has a stable platform to fire from. This new Bofors Anti-aircraft gun should be available during the first quarter of 2024.   Early October Updates. Hey folks. Happy Hump Day! We are gearing up for Fall and looking forward to Halloween. King and Country just dropped these cool new Frankenstein themed figures that will be out later this month. See the links below for new products. Last Sunday I attended the PATCOM IPMS model show for the first time. It was a small venue with a full crowd. It was nice to see all the great models and displays and chat with some longtime customers. I got home in enough time to watch my NFL Patriots get dismantled. Sad afternoon for Pats fans. I am trying to get back and sort out more of the massive collection I picked up in August. You can see some updates here.   End of September Updates. We are having a busy week here. We are trying to get back into the swing of things here at the Bunker. As many of you know, I just ran the Chicagoland Show and it was great success. It was easily the largest challenge I have pulled off as a businessman. Thanks to all my helpers! Joe, Joe, Chris, Steven, Dale, Woody, Verne, Rudy, Jim P., Jim R., Katy, Evan K., The Marriott, The Garfield's, The HB crew and DearthCo my design guy! 2024 here we come! Albert, Evan, and Dawn held down the fort while I was gone and we are getting back on track. This week we received a shipment from King and Country, our 2 game distributors, our 2 hobby distributors, Games Workshop, and a few others. Stop by the shop and check out the new stock.
