Militia Infantry (Top-Hat)
During this period, the top hat has begun to replace the bicorne as the preferred headwear for men. The single-breasted coatee adopted by the U.S. in 1813 is a very popular design. With slight modification, it can be transformed into the uniforms of the Dutch-Belgians, Spanish-Portuguese, etc. We will be providing the appropriate accessories to model for these other national troops in due course.
The set contains 9 model soldiers comprising of 1 officer and 8 infantrymen. The heads and arms are interchangeable to enable the assembly of at least 20 different models. The model postures are designed for two scenarios: (i) advancing/attacking; and (ii) defending/firing line.
