Egyptian Foot Command, Early Period, New Kingdom Egyptians

The box-set contains 9 model soldiers including 1 officer, 2 standard bearers, 2 drummers, 2 trumpeters and 2 escort axemen.  These models are in the appearance of Egyptian infantry during the early period of the New Kingdom era.  We will be issuing a corresponding set of the above for the later period in due course when the next toolings are done.

The Egyptian army was divided into 4 components:  War Chariots, Royal Guards, Army Corps (central army), and Provincial Levy.  We will be issuing sets of all of the above in due course including the auxiliaries and enemies of Egypt.

Egyptian infantry were divided into two tactical divisions:  Assault shock troops (sword and spear) and Shooters (bow and arrow).
