This sheet contains 16 shield transfers for use with the Victrix Early Saxon Unarmoured and Armoured Early Saxon Warriors sets.

The early Saxon raiders of the 5^th to 6^th centuries are said to have used a smaller buckler-sized shield, as they fought in a looser style, using the shield to punch and parry.

There are two types of large round shield on the Early Saxon warriors frames:  a flat surface and a slightly domed surface.  The transfer sheet has a separate column for each type of shield.
