Late January Updates.

Greetings. We hope you are all safe and dry after all the crazy weather I have seen on the news this week. Last week Dawn was out for a couple days and Albert missed 4 days with the Flu and on top of that I picked up a massive plastic soldier collection(see below).

I think we are just about caught up in the store and shipping now. A few incoming shipments were delayed with all the storms. All our King and Country, Expeditionary Force and John Jenkins orders are all out the door and en route to you if you had a pending order.

We are expecting lots of shipments in tomorrow and Friday. Stop by this weekend. We will be well stocked with hobby supplies, models and games!

Games Workshop's Warhammer Fantasy - The Old World released this month on Jan. 20.

With the storms in TN our shipment was delayed. We are hoping for Friday. ! Most of it is already spoken for! Call 781 321-8855 Last week we got some new Kill Team stuff. On February 17th a few guys are putting together a Warhammer games day.

Above is an airfield set up that was used during our Bolt Action tourney.

We have just added some new 1/32 Scale Forces of Valor Vehicles. They will be here this month. So please go ahead and order.

It is 3 miles away from the Elks where the show will be held. 8 minutes by car and 18 minutes by Bus. It is also near "Allen Train Station." Both the hotel and the Elks can be reached by Light Rail from LA and Orange County.

It is a small Hotel. We will be put on the first floor and 2nd floor.

We recently had a massive mixed doubles tournament here at Hobby Bunker. Joe from Falmouth drove up and took home the "Best General" award with 2 major victories.

Bob Rioux did a great job putting the event together. We had a total of 16 players. After we wrapped up the games a bunch of us headed over to Harrington's the local Irish Pub.

Bolt Action is great World War II wargame. It is played in 28mm scale and has been around for over a decade.

We carry all the Rulebooks, Miniatures and other accessories in the shop.

If you are interested in trying it out we usually have a group in the first Saturday of each month.

Last Friday I picked up a massive collection. Sadly, our long-time customer and friend, Doug Tishler, had passed away. Doug frequented my store as well as my fathers for 30+ years. he always requested to "look in the back room" for some special finds. He would also occasionally accompany us on the trip to Hackensack, NJ for the big annual toy soldier show. Sadly that is also something of the past now.

What a collection. He was proud to complete everything he started and to get what ever was made in whatever colors it was made in.

Doug's wishes were for the family to contact Hobby Bunker to do the massive task of sorting, listing and selling the massive collection.

For the most part the collection is all plastic toy soldiers ranging from ancients to the American Revolution, the Figures go back to the 1950's to present time.

It will be some time before it is all available and ready to sell.
